This One's for Dad
Okay, Dad, here is that crazy-delicious shrimp recipe I told you about the other day.
Ingredermints:
- 1 lb fresh shrimp, peeled and veined
- 6 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 garlic cloves, sliced
- 3 pinches red pepper flakes
- loaf of yummy crusty bread for sopping
Destructions:
- Combine the olive oil, garlic slices and pepper flakes in a small cast iron skillet over low heat
- This can just sit and "talk" for a bit while you peel and vein the shrimp
- Turn the heat up to high before you put the shrimp in
- Cook the shrimp briefly, a minute or so, til they turn pink and curl
REALLY GOOD!!
Update: Definitely works with a bottle of red wine, but might also be good with a "dark and stormy"
