If a man comes home from the grocery store with not only a bottle of cava, but also two incredibly perfectly ripe peaches, you know he loves you. (A glass of bubbly full of peach slices counts as breakfast, right?)
If he then sets about brining shrimp for the evening meal's appetizer, and then chases you out of the kitchen while he makes something secret, which turns out to be bolognese sauce so that you can have yummy tomatoes on your pasta later in the week when he's having kale & sausage on his (which is good and all, but not your favorite...), well then, you know he really loves you.
