My office building has apparently been doing some "beautification" recently. As I walked across the parking deck a week or so ago, I noticed sago palms up on top of the second level. This morning, the light was finally right to try a shot....

Saturday we shot rifles. Here is the MO with Chester. I was not very good about taking pictures, so that's just about the only documentation for the morning.

We ate lunch at the Monument Inn and watched the ship channel traffic. Last time I took ship pictures, I found Perserverance. This time it was Loyalty.

After lunch we decided to take a ride on the ferry and see where we ended up. Turns out, not anywhere very exciting, but it was a fun ride.

Sunday was pistol day, at a new (to us) range down by Hobby airport. Afterwards we all had ice cream cones. What could be better than good friends, lots of guns, and a bit of adventure, all topped off with ice cream?
